More software vulnerabilities exist in iOS compared to the other operating systems, and a SourceFire executive said this is due to the iPhone’s popularity, and Apple’s strictly controlled app store which drives cyber criminals to find vulnerabilities in the operating system instead.
According to SourceFire’s “25 Years of Vulnerabilities” study released in early March, which analyzed vulnerabilities from the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) data and National Vulnerability Database (NVD), the majority of mobile phone vulnerabilities have been found in Apple’s iPhone. The database provides 25 years of information on vulnerabilities to assess, spanning from 1988.

Japanese researchers have developed two new robots that can warn people if they suffer from bad body odour or stinky breath. The researchers have come out with two robots, a female human and a dog, that can tell you without mincing words if your breath or feet smell bad.
The robots make snarky remarks and exaggerated reactions to encourage offenders to do something about their odour.
One of the robots resembles a woman’s head and ranks the operator’s breath, declaring an “emergency” if it falls into the worst category.
The female robot, Kaori-chan, has brown hair and blue eyes. When a person breathes in her face, she analyses and quantifies components in their breath, and evaluates the smell on a scale of one to four. If their breath smells good, Kaori-chan says, “It smells like citrus!” Read More
